Mercersburg Academy is making its 8th trip to Costa Rica, a tradition that started in 2006 and has been biennial since 2009. Faculty and students volunteer their labor at the Cloud Forest School in Monteverde in the mountains for five days. There are also recreational/cultural visits to the capital of San Jose to start the trip and La Fortuna to finish off the trip. Trip leader Trini Hoffman is making her 7th appearance on this trip while Assistant leader Jeff Cohen is making his 6th.

At the airport and through security
Update: We have safely arrived at the airport and passed through security. We are now waiting in the terminal for our flight, which boards in about 90 minutes.
